Meet Pistachio. She loves cinnamon oatmeal cookies and long walks in the mud. After creating my Lavender the Lamb class, it was kind of irresistible for me to do a Pig next. And a baby at that!

In this 2 hour class, you will learn:

  • My “Dot to dot” technique to get proportions right
  • The “Splatter” method to create texture
  • Techniques to create feathery grass

Instruction led by Brooklyn Lamb via Zoom. Virtual classes are a great way to learn to paint at the convenience of your own home, having snacks within reach. As always, Brooklyn is happy to answer any questions you may have before, during, and after class. Please email her at hello@brooklynlamb.com

All the materials you’ll need and Zoom login info will be sent to you upon purchasing the class. If you don’t receive it promptly, please check your spam folder.

An email with the Zoom link, reference image, and material information will be sent to you after purchasing. No refunds.

Yes! I help guide you every step of the way when creating your portrait. I will even teach you how to use and wash your brushes.

Where is the class?
The class is on Zoom. You can join from your computer, tablet, or phone. It’s best to have a a bigger screen if possible. You could even AirPlay your phone to your TV screen for best picture.

What supplies do I need?
Everything you need will be included in your confirmation email after you sign up for the class. I include a preliminary drawing guide that is easy to follow and a link to my favorite art supplies.

How do I get the class link?
The Zoom link will be sent to you in your confirmation email when you sign up for the class.

Do I have to talk?
No! Feel free to talk as much or as little as you want. I do ask everyone a few questions as I try to make sure that everyone is on the same page or if anyone needs help. You can always type a question or comment in the chat box if you don’t feel like talking in front of the group.

Can I turn my camera off?
Yes, but it is easier for me to help you if you have your camera on.

Will I feel intimidated by the other painters since I’m not experienced?
No! Everyone is on different levels of experience. At the beginning of class, I ask each person to type in how long they’ve been painting into the chat box so everyone can see that we all come from different levels of expertise.

Can I ask questions?
PLEASE do! That’s how I will know how to help you.

Are classes fun?
Yes! And with virtual classes, people from all over the world are joining in. So you never know what new friend you could meet.
